1944 PGA Championship at Manito Golf Club Scoring Pencil

Bob Hamilton won the 1944 PGA Championship in match play over Byron Nelson. Held in Spokane, WA, it was the only major tournament played in the US that year and the first to be played in the Pacific Northwest. In the 1944 PGA 36 hole Championship round, PGA top player of the day, Byran Nelson performed admirably posting a score of 140, 4-under-par. He flat out got beat that day with Bob Hamilton posting a 5-under-par total to claim the '44 PGA Championship. Here we have a scoring pencil from that tournament, presenting in great vintage condition. It measures 3 7/8" long and will add nicely to any collection.
