Curtis Strange Signed 1989 US Open at Oak Hill CC Logo Golf Ball

In 1988, Curtis Strange had 4 PGA Tour wins, including the US Open, and became the first golfer to crack the $1 million mark for single-season earnings. In 1989, at age 34, he won his second US Open. Strange's first US Open win came via a playoff defeat of Nick Faldo. The site of that 2nd US Open victory was Oak Hill, where Strange became the first to successfully defend the title since Ben Hogan in 1951. Strange has signed this 1989 US Open at Oak Hill logo golf ball in black marker.

James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
