1955 Clydebank and District GC Exhibition Scorecard Signed by Peter Thomson
Peter Thomson won an incredible 5 Open Championships, including 3 in a row. Here we have a scorecard from the 1955 Clydebank and District Golf Club exhibition match between Thomson and Joe Carr, and amateur golfer from Dublin. Thomson would go on the win his second consecutive Open title the following month. Thomson signed the scorecard in black marker and this will display very nicely in any collection. The scorecard shows slight staining.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
