Jack Nicklaus Signed 1970 Piccadilly World Match Play Program

The 1970 Piccadilly World Match Play Championship was the 7th one held, and it was at Wentworth Golf Club in England. There were 8 players involved and they competed in head to head 36 hole straight knock out matches. This was the first time Nicklaus played in the event since 1966 as he had a dispute with the referee in the final the first time. After comfortably winning the first two matches, he met Lee Trevino in the final where he won 2&1. This seldom seen program measures 7 1/4" x 11" and has been signed nicely in black sharpie by Jack.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, June 18th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
