1952 National Golf Day 'I Beat Ben Hogan' Medal and Fort Wayne Open Money Clip

This lot features two unique items. The first is a medal from the 1952 National Golf Day. In 1952 the PGA founded National Golf Day, a day to celebrate and enjoy the game of golf. To this day, National Golf day is an opportunity for golf industry leaders to meet with members of Congress, the Executive Branch and federal agencies to discuss the game's nearly $70 billion economy, $4 billion annual charitable impact, and many environmental and fitness benefits. Medal has 1 3/8" diameter.

The second item is a money clip from the Ben Hogan Fort Wayne Open that measures 2" x 1". This tournament ran in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1990, 1991, and 1992. Incredible pieces to round out your Hogan collection.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, June 18th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
