1958 Yale Golf Course - 9th Hole- Display Box by Spalding
Here we have a Spalding display box that features the 9th hole at Yale Golf Course as it stood in 1958. This piece measures 5 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 2 1/4" and is in excellent condition. The course is owned and operated by the prestigious Ivy League Yale University, was designed by Charles Blair MacDonald in the 1920's, and has been rated one of the top 100 American golf courses. The signature 9th hole features a challenging Biarritz Green and may be the best example of such a whole around. This piece will add nicely to any collection.
