Byron Nelson Signed 11x14 Black & White Photo - Frank Christian Studio
While Nelson cut his own career short, by retiring at age 34, he didn't fail to leave his mark on the game. In 1945, Nelson won 11 consecutive tournaments and 18 out of the 35 possible tournaments in a shortened season due to the war. His name is now attached to the AT&T Byron Nelson Championship, the first PGA Tour event to be named after a professional golfer. Nelson left his signature nicely on this 11 x 14 black and white photograph.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, April 9th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
