1938 'Golf in North Carolina' by O.B. Keeler
Here we have a copy of the 1938 book "Golf in North Carolina" by O.B. Keeler. This book touches on the terrain, history, and courses of the state of North Carolina. Oscar Bane Keeler was raised in Georgia and witnessed Bobby Jones' first tournament win at age 14. From then on, Keeler attended every match Jones played, including the 7 Major wins and the 1930 Grand Slam season. The pair traveled over 200,000 miles together, Keeler not only writing about Jones but also acting as his press agent and friend and confidant. Keeler wrote many books on golf, and this lot offers one of them to bidders.
