1917 Ouimet & Guilford VS Travers & Kirkby at Baltusrol Red Cross Ticket - Sept. 8th
Here we have a ticket from an exhibition match at Baltusrol Golf Club. This was part of a series of exhibition matches known as the 1917 PGA War Relief Tournament with the Red Cross Society. This ticket earned you entry to watch the second half, or 36 holes, of match play between Francis Ouimet and Jesse Guilford of Massachusetts, and Jerome Travers and Oswald Kirkby of New Jersey. The ticket measures 2 1/2" in diameter and has the original ribbon intact.
