Payne Stewart Signed 'World Cup Golf' White Lake Nona Hat
Payne Stewart won the 1999 US Open, his 3rd Major, just 4 short months before his untimely death in a plane crash in South Dakota at the age of 42. In 2001 he was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. This hat comes from the 1993 Wold Cup Golf tournament, held at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club in Orlando, FL. Stewart signed and personalized the hat 'Pat, Best wishes always, Payne Stewart.'
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
