1967 PGA Championship at Columbine Country Club Committee Badge Money Clip

For the second time in the 10-year history of the PGA Championship being contested through stroke play, Don January was involved in a playoff to decide the champion. Played in the thin, mile high Colorado atmosphere, two lowland neighbors from Dallas Texas, in January and Don Massengale, adapted nicely to the rarified air to come down to the wire deadlocked at 281. Even though January had lost the 1961 PGA Championship in the first ever playoff, he proved the steadier of the two in an 18-hole playoff, with a 3-under 69 to Massengale's 71. Here we have a committee badge money clip from the tournament that presents in excellent condition.
