1957 US Open at Inverness Bound Program - Dick Mayer Winner
A bound program from the 1957 U.S. Open at Inverness Golf Club is offered in this lot. The tournament was won by Dick Mayer as he defeated defending champion Cary Middlecoff in an 18-hole playoff to claim his only major. While he would miss the cut after shooting consecutive rounds of 80, the 1957 Open was the debut of amateur Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus went on to win a record-tying four U.S. Open tournaments. This program is in excellent condition and ready to be displayed
