Tom Watson Signed Sports Illustrated 'Golf's New Master' 4/18/1977

This lot features a signed Sports Illustrated magazine by Tom Watson after his first Masters victory. The April 18, 1977 'Golf's New Master' was signed by Watson in black Sharpie with the inscription "To Al, Best of Luck." Watson also wrote "100" near the photo of him on the cover. Watson is a two-time Masters winner, also winning in 1981. He won eight major championships in his storied career, winning the Open Championship five times (1975, 1977, 1980, 1982, 1983) and the 1982 U.S. Open. This signed SI magazine is in good condition, showing only slight wear along the borders of the cover.
