Cochrane Rustless Special Putter with Beveled Wood Grip

James Pringle Cochrane started manufacturing golf balls in 1895, and by 1910 golf clubs became their major business. They were one of the leading exporters of clubs in Scotland. Their more popular clubs were the giant niblicks. This lot features a putter with the knight cleekmark they began using in 1910. The stamps indicate the "Special Rustless" and the putter features a beveled wood grip. Please see photographs.
