Lot of Two Vintage Golf Score Books - MacGregor & Unmarked
this lot features a pair of vintage score books. One is unmarked other than the crossed clubs on the cover. The other is courtesy of the Crawford, MacGregor, and Canby Company. John MacGregor and Edward Canby joined forces in 1896 to form "Crawford, MacGregor, & Canby." They became the first American manufacturer of golf clubs. In the 1930s the company was acquired by the Goldsmith Company and shortly there after became just MacGregor.
