George Nicoll Spade Mashie 7 Iron - George Wolfe Special
Here we have a spade mashie 7 iron made by George Nicoll. Nicoll was a blacksmith by trade, and in the 1880s he started making hand forged irons. Well known golfers such as Henry Cotton, Brian Huggett, Dai Rees, and Vivien Saunders used his clubs. The Nicoll family distributed the clubs worldwide unitl 1982, owned now by St Andrews Golf Company. This club measures 32" from hosel to end and also features the stamp "George Wolfe Special"
