George Nicoll Warranted Hand Forged Putter - with Head Stamp
Here we have a hand forged putter by George Nicoll. It measures 30 1/4" from hosel to end and features the Nicoll cleekmark. George Nicoll was a blacksmith by trade, and in the 1880s he started making hand forged irons. Well known golfers such as Henry Cotton, Brian Huggett, Dai Rees, and Vivien Saunders used his clubs. The Nicoll family distributed the clubs worldwide unitl 1982, owned now by St Andrews Golf Company. Please see photos for condition.
