Lot of Four 'I Beat the Pro's' Medals - 1953, 1955 (x2), & 1957

This lot features a set of 4 medals from the PGA's National Golf Day. In 1952 the PGA founded National Golf Day, a day to celebrate and enjoy the game of golf. To this day, National Golf day is an opportunity for golf industry leaders to meet with members of Congress, the Executive Branch and federal agencies to discuss the game's nearly $70 billion economy, $4 billion annual charitable impact, and many environmental and fitness benefits. The 1953 medal features Julius Boros, the two 1955 medals feature Ed Furgol, and the 1957 medal features Cary Middlecoff.
