Sugar, Salt, & Pepper FORE with Youg Golfer Ceramic Display - England
This lot features a sugar, salt, and pepper display that measures 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 4". Made by the Crown Devon company, the display shows a golfer figurine with his bag on the 18th hole. In 1912, Railway Pottery was renamed Devon Pottery and released the Crown Devon line featuring majolica, a generic name given to the brightly colored lead-glazed earthenware.
