This lot features a set of three original wire photos from British Open champions. The typical stamps and editorial notes appear on the back of the photos.
Ben Hogan Hogan won the British Open in 1953 held at Carnoustie Golf Links in Carnoustie, Scotland. Photo measures 7 1/8" x 9"
Bobby Locke Locke won his fourth and final British Open in 1957 on the Old Course at St. Andrews. Photo measures 7 1/8" x 9"
Sam Snead Snead won the British Open in 1946, the first time an American had won in 13 years on the Old Course at St. Andrews. Photo measures 8 1/8" x 10 3/8"
