Doug Ford, Bob Goalby, and Gay Brewer Signed Augusta National GC Scorecards

This is a sought after lot featuring three scorecards from Augusta National Golf Club signed by three former Masters Champions.
Bob Goalby won the Masters in 1968, his lone Major victory among his 14 professional wins. His 1968 Masters win is well known, as he was tied through 72 holes with Roberto DeVicenzo. DeVicenzo's playing partner Tommy Aaron incorrectly recorded a par 4 17th hole, when DeVicenzo in fact had birdied the hole. DeVicenzo failed to catch the error before signing his card and by rule the score stood and Bob Goalby won by one stroke.
Doug Ford won the Masters in 1957, and is still the oldest living green jacket holder. Ford's only other Major win came at the PGA Championship in 1955. He played on 4 Ryder Cup teams (1955, 1957, 1959, 1961) and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2011, which at the time of the ceremony the 88 year old Ford continued to regularly play casual golf.
Gay Brewer won his lone Major at the Masters in 1967, a year after losing to Jack Nicklaus in an 18 hole play-off. Brewer was a member of the 1973 Ryder Cup Champions team, going 3-2 in his matches.
