1935 Shenecossett CC 17th Annual Women's Invitational Tournament Sterling Trophy


This lot presents a remarkable sterling silver trophy from the Shennecossett. Shennecossett is a historic 18-hole public golf course designed by Donald Ross and founded in 1898. To this day it remains a top New England golfing destination, having been played by legends such as Walter Hagen, Bobby Jones, Tommy Armour, Francis Ouimet, Babe Didrikson, and Glenna Collett. Front reads:
