1922 Gene Sarazen with Trophy Wire Photo


This original 10" x 8" wire photo depicts Gene Sarazen admiring the trophy he won at the 1922 US Open. Sarazen topped Bobby Jones and John Black by one stroke for the first of his two US Open wins. Sarazen, along with Hogan, Player, Nicklaus, and Woods, achieved the incredible career Grand Slam, also winning the PGA Championship, the Open Championship, and the Masters. Presents in good condition and has the typical wire photo notations on the back.
