In 1952 the PGA founded National Golf Day, a day to celebrate and enjoy the game of golf. To this day, National Golf day is an opportunity for golf industry leaders to meet with members of Congress, the Executive Branch and federal agencies to discuss the game's nearly $70 billion economy, $4 billion annual charitable impact, and many environmental and fitness benefits. Four of the medals are in their original decorative packaging featuring the 1958 Champions Dow Finsterwald(PGA) and Tommy Bolt(USGA)
