1956 5th Annual National Golf Day Medal "I Beat Fay Crocker"- Set of 3
In 1952 the PGA founded National Golf Day, a day to celebrate and enjoy the game of golf. To this day, National Golf day is an opportunity for golf industry leaders to meet with members of Congress, the Executive Branch and federal agencies to discuss the game's nearly $70 billion economy, $4 billion annual charitable impact, and many environmental and fitness benefits. These medals are in their original decorative packing, which shows the expected wear. The medals commemorate the likeness of Fay Crocker, the 1955 USGA Women's Open Champion.
