Ted Ray D-1977 (U.K.Comedian with Stage Name After Golfer) Signed Golf Ball

Ted Ray was a popular English comedian of the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, on radio and television. Born Charles Olden, he began calling himself Ted Ray in 1949 after the golfer. His BBC radio show Ray's a Laugh ran for 12 years. The famed British Dunlop 65 ball (a desired collectible itself, with it's naming in honor of Henry Cotten's then record score of 65 in his 1934 triumph at The Open) is signed in black ink.

James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature, and their letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, November 20th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
