Burke Juvenile Putter with Wood Shaft
William Burke had managed MacGregor's clubmaking for nearly 15 years before branching out on his own in 1910. By the late 1920s and early 1930s they were mass-producing cheap store-brand clubs, particularly the Columbia range. It is easy to overlook the quality and innovation they produced, but the fact that Jock Hutchison used their clubs, and Harry Vardon later gave them his endorsement, speaks volumes. Here we have a juvenile putter that measures 27" from hosel to end. Please see photos for condition.
Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, November 20th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
