Ben Hogan Signed Check with Photo - Matted
This lot presents a framed photo and signed check from Ben Hogan. The picture depicts the finish of Hogan's notorious swing. Hogan signed the check in pen, written out to Dr. I. M. Cochran, Jr and dated June 5, 1991. Ben Hogan compiled nine career professional major championships tying him (with Gary Player) for fourth all-time, trailing only Jack Nicklaus (18), Tiger Woods (14) and Walter Hagen (11). He is also one of only five golfers to have won all four major championships currently open to professionals (the Masters Tournament, the British Open, the U.S. Open, and the PGA Championship). Frame measures 13 1/8" x 18"
