Three Peter Thomson Signed Original Open Wire Photos - 1954, 1955, & 1956
Australian golfer Peter Thomson found his greatest success playing in the Open Championship, which he won five times. Here we have Thomson signed original wire photos from his three consecutive victories in 1954, 1955, and 1956. Thomson is the only golfer to win three consecutive British Opens and also won in 1958 and 1965. Each photo has newspaper details on the back and was signed by Thomson in black Sharpie. The photos have maintained their good condition. The 1956 photo does show some staining. See photos for more detail on the image and condition.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the Thomson autographs and their certification of its authenticity will come with this lot.
