Tom Watson Signed Muirfield Embroidered Flag with 'The Open Champion 1980'
Tom Watson leaves his signature on a flag from the course where he won his third Open Championship, and fourth overall major championship. Tom Watson signed this Muirfield Golf Links white embroidered flag in black Sharpie with the 'The Open Champion 1980' inscription. Tom Watson was an eight-time Major winner, winning the Open Championship an incredible five times (1975, 1977, 1980, 1982, 1983), the U.S. Open in 1982, and the Masters in 1977 and 1981.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph and their certification of its authenticity will come with this lot.
