1962 Open Championship at Old Troon Program - Arnold Palmer Winner
R.I.P. to The King. We'll never see anyone in golf as beloved as Arnold Palmer, and his career accomplishments are overshadowed by his impact on the game. The late Palmer passed away Sunday, September 25 at age 87. Here we have an excellent condition 1962 Open Championship at Old Troon official program. The program measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and anyone attending the tournament saw the great Arnold Palmer defend his 1961 Open victory. The King held off Kel Nagle by six strokes and was his sixth of seven career major championships. You will be hard pressed to find a 1962 Open Championship program in this condition, and we expect heavy interest from bidders.
