First American Ryder Cup Team Black & White Photo 11x14
A classic black and white photo of the first American Ryder Cup team is available here. The 11x14" photo is in excellent condition and shows the 1927 winning U.S. squad, with captain Walter Hagen holding the trophy. The Americans beat the British team by a score of 9.5 to 2.5. The following players were a part of the U.S. inaugural Ryder Cup team:
Walter Hagen (captain), Gene Sarazen, Leo Diegel, Al Espinosa, Johnny Farrell, Johnny Golden, Bill Mehlhorn, Joe Turnesa, Al Watrous
