1960 US Open at Cherry Hills Program - Arnold Palmer Win
R.I.P. to The King. We'll never see anyone in golf as beloved as Arnold Palmer, and his career accomplishments are overshadowed by his impact on the game. The late Palmer passed away Sunday, September 25 at age 87. The King won his only U.S. Open title in dramatic fashion by overcoming a seven-stroke deficit on Sunday at Cherry Hills Country Club to win his third of seven career major championships. Palmer followed his Masters victory by winning the U.S. Open, before his Grand Slam dreams were crushed at the British Open weeks later, where he finished one stroke behind Kel Nagle. This lot features an official program from Arnold Palmer's only U.S. Open title at the 1960 tournament at Cherry Hills. The program comes to you in good condition, showing some wear on the cover and binding.
