2005 Commemorative Walker Cup Plate - 40th - Chicago Golf Club
A commemorative plate from the 2005 Walker Cup is offered in this lot. The 40th Walker Cup competition was played at the Chicago Golf Club and won by the United States team 12.5 to 11.5. The commemorative steel plate measures 10 3/4" diameter and comes in its original Wilton Armetale box. This exclusive club was one of the five clubs which founded the United States Golf Association in 1894. Great international matches contested on the oldest 18-hole course in North America.
