1979 US Open Official Scorecard Signed by Seve Ballesteros & Andy Bean
Here we have a 1979 U.S. Open official scorecard signed by Seve Ballesteros and Andy Bean following the first round at Inverness Club. Andy Bean led after the opening round at 1-under par, before sliding and finishing in the top-25. We all know the mark Seve left on the game of golf, totaling five major championships in his career. Ballesteros won the 1979, 1984, and 1988 Open Championships and the 1980 and 1983 Masters. This scorecard is in good condition, showing minimal wear. Both golfers signed the official 1979 U.S. Open scorecard in pencil.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the autographs and their certification of its authenticity will come with this lot.
