1997 Major Winners Signed Golf World Magazines - Tiger, Els, Leonard, & Love
The four Major winners from 1997 are featured here on four signed Golf World magazines, framed and ready for display. The frame measures 39 1/8" x 15 1/8" and has kept the signed magazines in NR-MT condition. In the 1997 season, Tiger Woods won his first career Major at the Masters Tournament, winning in incredible fashion, 12 strokes ahead of runner-up Tom Kite. Woods signed in black Sharpie along with the inscription 'All the Best.' Ernie Els won his second U.S. Open at the 1997 tournament at Congressional, finishing one stroke ahead of Colin Montgomerie. Els signed in blue Sharpie. Justin Leonard became the fifth consecutive American to win the British Open when he won by three strokes over Jesper Parnevik and Darren Clarke at Royal Troon. He leaves his signature in black Sharpie. Davis Love III rounded out the Majors for the 1997 season by winning the PGA Championship at Winged Foot for his lone career Major. Love III finished five strokes ahead of Leonard. He signed the magazine in black Sharpie.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the autographs from the 1997 Major winners and their certification of its authenticity will come with this lot.
