Relive the great Bobby Jones' first major win at the 1923 U.S. Open with this vintage newspaper page. Jones is shown putting at the 19th hole at Inwood Links in the above photo and receiving the trophy from his first major below. This would mark the beginning of a brilliant career for Jones, who may have been the most iconic golfer to ever play. The edges of this newspaper page are worn, but this 1923 publication remains in good condition.
