1927 'Six Golfing Shots by Six Famous Players' Booklet Edited by Bernard Darwin
This 'Six Golfing Shots by Six Famous Players' booklet was written by six famed golfers from the early 20th century, edited by Bernard Darwin. Published in 1927 by Dormeuil Freres, 14 Warwick Street. London, W.1. Sole distributes of the "Sportex" Cloth manufactured in Scotland. Booklet shows some evidence of wear on the cover, see photos. The six golfers and the shots written about are:
Abe Mitchell - The Drive
George Duncan - Through the Green-The Brassie and the Spoon
J.H. Taylor - Iron and Mashie Play
James M.Barnes - The Pitch-and-Run
James Braid - In Bunkers and Hazards
Arnaud Massy - Putting
