2011 Masters Annual with Note - Charl Schwartzel Winner
Here we have a Masters Annual from the 75th Masters Tournament played at Augusta National in 2011 with a note. Charl Schwartzel surprised a stacked field by birdying the final four holes en route to his first and only major championship, finishing two strokes ahead of Jason Day and Adam Scott. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy were contenders, and Rory may still be kicking himself over this one that got away. He had a four-stroke advantage entering the final round of play, but collapsed and shot an 80 to ultimately finish ten strokes behing Schwartzel. McIlroy needs only a Masters Tournament victory to complete the career Grand Slam.
