Lot of 5 Women's Senior Amateur Championship Contestant Badges - 1980-1983 and 1985
Five Contestant Badges from the U.S.G.A. Women's Senior Amateur Championship appear in this lot. The Women's Senior Amateur Championship was launched in 1962 and became an annual tournament for amateur female golfers 50 years of age or older. Badges from 1980-1983 along with 1985 are included. Each badge, except the 1981 badge which has no name, belonged to a Mrs. Raymond Moreland. The years included (with tournament winner) are:
1980 - Dorothy Germain Porter
1981 - Germain Porter
1982 - Edean Ihlanfeldt
1983 - Germain Porter
1985 - Marlene Streit
Each badge measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"
