Ltd Ed 1981 The Memorial Tournament Honoring Harry Vardon, Jr #199/300
The 1981 Memorial Tournament honored the legendary Harry Vardon. This limited edition Memorial book is #199 out of #300. These books were given out to the PGA Tour Pros and dignitaries during the 1981 Memorial Tournament. Vardon was a prominent golf figure in the late 1890s into the early 1900s, winning seven major championships, including the U.S. Open in 1900 and a record six Open Championships (1896, 1898, 1899, 1903, 1911, 1914). He was one of the members of the inaugural 1974 class into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
