Lot of Three Signed Items - Two Hats and an Ash Tray
This lot features some high-profile names in golf from the early 1990s with two signed hats and a signed ash tray. A multi-signed Greater Greensboro Open hat was signed by Payne Stewart, Fred Couples, Tom Kite, and other; each golfer signed clearly in black Sharpie and the hat remains in excellent condition. Corey Pavin signed a hat from Shinnecock Golf Club, the site of the 1995 U.S. Open, a tournament Pavin won to claim his lone major. Pavin signed in black Sharpie. Steve Jones won the 1996 U.S. Open and left a bold signature in black Sharpie on this ash try from Oakland Hills. Each golfer in this lot has a major championship, and Stewart racked up the most (3) before his untimely death in 1999, still in the peak of his career.
