Dozen Signed Ken Venturi 'Professional' Golf Balls with Signed Box
1964 U.S. Open champion Ken Venturi signed a complete set of his Ken Venturi 'Professional' golf balls, along with a signature on the box. Each signature was penned in black Sharpie and are of excellent quality. Some of the 12 golf balls offered show stains from age, and the case is worn, see photos. Venturi made his name by battling the heat and the field on his way to setting U.S. Open records for lowest scores of 206 and 136 over the final 54 and 36 holes, respectively. The threat of heat stroke and dehydration may not be the issue here, as writer's cramp is more likely with the many signatures Venturi left for us in this lot.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their certification of its authenticity will come with this lot.
