Byron Nelson 'Winning Golf' Lesson-Minder Kit with Three Signed by Nelson
Presented here is a Lesson-Minder 'Winning Golf' with Byron Nelson kit, with three Nelson signatures included in the lot. Pilot Freight Carriers Inc. made the kits that offered lesson tutorials and insight as well as golf records progress charts. The items are in great condition. The box shows some age and a slight tear at the bottom of the packaging. The kit includes two 12 lesson pamphlets with lessons ranging from coordination and timing of the golf swing, iron shots, pitching, long shots from the rough and a downward slope, chip shots, long shots to the green, shooting from the traps, and more to form a very comprehensive guide to winning in golf. Nelson signed beautifully in black Sharpie on three of the lessons. Nelson won 54 PGA Tour tournaments and five major championships in his career, and now has his name attached to a PGA Tour tournament, the now AT&T Byron Nelson, formerly the Byron Nelson Golf Classic.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and its letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
