Leroy Neiman Signed 2000 PGA Program with Ticket
Artist Leroy Neiman leaves a large signature in black Sharpie across the bottom of this 2000 PGA Championship program. A ticket from the tournament at Valhalla Golf Club accompanies this lot. Neiman was an American artist known for his brilliantly colored, expressionist paintings and screen prints of athletes and sporting events. He desinged the program for the 2000 PGA Championship and ticket, a classic bright painting showing a golfer attempting to cross the water to reach the green, with his caddy overlooking and a crowd waiting ahead. Tiger Woods would win his second consecutive PGA Championship at Valhalla, making it his fifth major championship at the time.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph and their certification of its authenticity will come with this lot.
