2016 Masters Badge #R10942 - Danny Willett Winner
The newest item available for any Masters Tournament badge collector is offered in this lot, with badge #R10942 from this past April's Masters. As you may expect, the badge is in perfect condition. The 2016 Masters will be remembered as much for Danny Willett claiming his first career major championship as it will for defending champion Jordan Spieth's collapse. Spieth was looking to lead from start-to-finish, but suffered mightily Sunday at Augusta National. Holding a five stroke lead heading into the back nine, Spieth lost six shots to par over the next three holes, most notably on the 12th hole, where he would mark a quadruple-bogey after hitting two balls into Rae's Creek. Let's not forget about Willett, who shot a bogey-free 67 round to overtake Spieth and Lee Westwood.
