Cary Middlecoff Signed 1947 Masters Photo with Jimmy Demaret
This lot features a photo of two golf greats, Cary Middlecoff and Jimmy Demart, laughing and looking over Sunday's pairings for the 1947 Masters Tournament. Middlecoff leaves his signature on this wire photo in black ink. Demaret won the 1947 Masters, one of his three Masters victories. Middlecoff went from dentist to PGA Tour professional golfer in 1947, and went on to win 40 PGA tournaments and three major championships.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph and their certification of its authenticity will come with this lot.
