Multi-Signed 1944 Tournament Sheet
Sheet is 8 1/2" x 11"
This lot features a multi-signed Tournament entry sheet from the 1944 San Gabriel Country Club Pro-Am tournament, won by Ellsworth Vines. The sheet features prominent golf figures Johnny Revolta, Olin Dutra, and Johnny Bulla. Vines was the tournament winner, along with three PGA Tour victories, but may be better known for his tennis career. Vines was once the World No. 1 ranked tennis player, and co-No. 1 during four years in the 1930s. He won three Grand Slam titles and was apart of two doubles championships before trying his luck on the links and becoming a professional golfer.
