Lot of Three Signed Golf Balls - Tommy Bolt, Ken Venturi, & Lee Janzen

Three U.S. Open champions have graced us with their signatures on three golf balls offered here. Two-time U.S. Open winner Lee Janzen, Ken Venturi, and Tommy Bolt are present in this lot. Venturi leaves a strong, bold signature in black Sharpie. Bolt's black Sharpie signature shows limited smudging around the autograph. Janzen signs in black Sharpie, with each loop in his signature appearing more faint than the rest. Venturi won the U.S. Open in 1964, disregarding the advice of medics to withdraw from the tournament due to dehydration, went on to best Tommy Jacobs by four strokes while setting Open records for his scores of 136 and 206 over the last 36 and 54 holes, respectively. Bolt spoiled Gary Player's U.S. Open debut by beating him by four strokes in 1958 to claim his only major championship. Janzen won the tournament in 1993 and 1998, to go along with his ten professional tournament wins.
