Jimmy Demaret Signed 3x5 Card

It is interesting to ponder that Jimmy Demaret had won the Masters already three times in his career before Ben Hogan ever claimed a green jacket. With his wins in 1940, 1947 and 1950, Demaret became the first three time Masters champion. Offered here is a clean and clear example of Demaret's signature formed with a ball point pen on a highly desired, and seldom seen 3x5 index card. Cut signatures are to be found on the Hall of Famer, but only occasionally does a true 3x5 show up. When Demaret passed away in 1983 at the age of 73 it became quickly apparent to the growing community of golf collectors that there was not much signed material out there on this legend of Augusta. James Spence Authentication (JSA) provides authenticity for the Demaret autograph in this lot.
